K-STAR SUMMER CAMP

NEW THIS SUMMER!! STAR is offering a fun new twist to our summer camp program, designed specifically for our incoming kindergartners! In past summer camps we have included our K-STARs in our rotation system with our 1st – 3rd grade students. This summer we have added a separate component to our summer program just for incoming kindergartners.

This change will focus on age-appropriate curriculum that incorporates the skills needed to prepare them for kindergarten while keeping a “summer fun” feel. Some of the benefits of this change include: Separate kindergarten recess and snack time, stimulating themed curriculum that reinforces skills such as; language, science, math, cooking, dramatic play and social skills just to name a few!

We have also added a half day option for families who would prefer their kindergartners to be picked up by noon. The Half Day Kindergarten Program requires a five day a week commitment each week of your choice. If you choose to have your child attend a full day he/she will get all of the benefits of the morning K-STAR camp, plus afternoon care including field trips. Full Day Kindergarten Program only requires a minimum of two days each week of your choice. Your kindergartner will take a journey with their friends this summer that will not only be educational and fun but will also build self confidence.
