Did you ever want to learn how to build a puppet? Curious about how puppets come to life? You’ll discover these things and more when you sign up for Puppet Theatre. Learn where it all began…from Japanese Bunraku to Jim Henson and the Muppets. Learn the difference between the different kinds of puppets and how to design, build and manipulate your very own finger and moving mouth puppets. Participants will create and perform in their very own video taped puppet plays. All materials will be provided. Participants will leave the last class with two puppets and a DVD! Students must bring their own snacks and sack lunch.
